Essential Oils

There is no doubt that plants and people are intimately connected.  Our entire existence is based on agriculture and the fruits of nature.  People have been nourishing themselves, healing, and lifting their spirits with plants since time began.

  •  The first recorded distillation of essential oils dates back to Mesopotamia, 3500 BC.
  • The Chinese have a book listing 300 botanicals and their uses dating from 3000 BC.
  • Ancient Egyptians wrote of using Cinnamon, Juniper, Frankincense, and more.
  • The Bible tells us of the gifts worthy of the Christ child: both Frankincense and Myrrh.  The Bible also mentions Myrtle, Spikenard, Hyssop, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, and Fir.
  • Injured soldiers in WWI were treated on the battlefield with Lavender essential oil.
  • Incense, particularly made from Frankincense, Myrrh, & Sandalwood are often used in religious ceremonies and churches, even today.

The human body is a miraculous thing.  We all have the innate ability to heal.  Our bodies are constantly renewing, regenerating, detoxifying, and rebuilding, cell by cell.  We can assist this or we can impede this process.  While there is a place for pharmaceuticals and surgeries, they shouldn’t be the first answer or the only answer.

I have personally been using essential oils for more than 27 years, as well as using them in my massage practice for more than six years.  I have used so many brands and experience led me to the conclusion that there is nothing better than Young Living.  Their oils are so much more effective and pure than anything I’ve ever used.

The Seed to Seal Promise means that every step of the way plants are tested for purity, quality, and kept pesticide-free.  Seed to Seal goes beyond organic.  That’s an important difference to me.

Some of the ways that I use essential oils in my everyday life are:

  • Diffusing to purify the air, improve my mood, uplift, create a sense of calm, for sleep, focus, or for meditation
  • Taking oils internally to support my skin, immune system, digestion, and overall wellness
  •  Adding oils to my skin care routine to nourish and regenerate healthier skin
  • Adding a drop or two of Vitality Essential Oils in recipes like salad dressings, dips, and baked goods
  • Using natural, safe, and effective home cleaners and laundry products

I am NOT a salesperson.  I do exactly what I’ve always done, which is share what is working for me, what I love using, and what has made a difference in my life.  The best part is that these oils are something I am head-over-heels in love with and have seen create positive changes in my own life, that of my family members, and many others.  I love my oily lifestyle.

For me, Young Living is an opportunity to live better in every way.  My only regret is that I waited so long to become a member.

Becoming a Young Living member is just like signing up for Costco or Sam’s, except that the products and the benefits are all about supporting a healthy body, mind, and spirit.  On top of that, the friendships and connections that you will make (if you want to) with other Young Living members brings a whole new community of like-minded, positive people into your life.

Whether you just want to replace toxic chemicals with natural products to create a healthier home environment, to maintain the health of your family, or to start a business that generates a full-time income with part-time hours, I can help you with that.

My goal is to help you achieve your goals and become the healthiest and happiest person you know.
